The shooting of several key action scenes for the much-awaited film ‘Singham Again’, which stars Ajay Devgn and is directed by Rohit Shetty, is almost finished. Recently, the filmmaker transformed the busy neighbourhood of Byculla in Mumbai into a makeshift battlefield to film an intense fight sequence.
According to a report in Mid-day, Ajay, who will reprise the role of DCP Bajirao Singham in the film, shot through the night alongside his co-stars Shweta Tiwari and Dayanand Shetty.In the scene, the actor fights off a group of villains and is required to draw a big audience. In order to minimize disruptions and ensure that the residents wouldn’t be inconvenienced during the shoot, the crew members chose to film at night. The report further stated that after this part was shot, the team moved to Richardson & Cruddas Mill in the vicinity.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Singham Again’ is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, it is the third installment of Rohit Shetty’s popular cop franchise. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Arjun Kapoor wil be seen essaying the villain in this entertainer. ‘Singham Again’ is set for a theatrical release during the weekend of Independence Day 2024.
